WHY IS IT USEFUL?

A video deposition is more useful than a regular deposition for the simple reason that it records more information than a transcript ever could – and information is power! Video synching can take your video depositions to the next level. It turns a mountain of valuable information into an easily navigable and manageable resource.

There are several uses for your synched video:

Search Synched Video
Your days of endless fast-forwarding and rewinding are over! You now have the power to perform a keyword search in the transcript and view the corresponding video instantly.

Create Video Clips
You can create clips of portions of particularly useful testimony and use them to your benefit. Possible uses include:

-  Impeachment at trial
-  Opening/Closing arguments
-  Expert review
-  Settlement discussions
-  Settlement videos
-  Mediations

Impeachment At Trial
You can create video clips made from your DepoView CD for use in your closing statement or to impeach witnesses. Imagine impeaching witnesses with a video of their discovery testimony rather than just reading the transcripts. It has tremendous impact because witnesses cannot wiggle out of prior inconsistent statements when the jurors can see and hear the witnesses’ demeanor, inflection, intonation, and body language.

Import Into Litigation Software
The DepoView CD you receive contains an import folder with 10 files in it: *.ami, *.cms, *.sbf, *.tml, *.txt, *.vid, *.ptf, *.mdb, *.pts, and *.sml. The benefit to you is that our product imports into almost any major litigation software package, including RealLegal Binder, Summation, Sanction, LiveNote, TrialDirector, iCONECT, CaseMap, TimeMap, Concordance, and more!
